Nancy – Office Manager
Nancy has been in the dental field since 2008 and has been with Scharrington Dental since day one. Nancy strives to ensure that each and every patient receives the utmost care, making their visit a positive and stress-free experience. As an added bonus, her fluency in Spanish allows her to provide equal care to our bilingual patients. Nancy values quality time with her family.
Blanca – Finance Coordinator
Blanca is one of the friendly faces at the front desk. She is our insurance and billing expert, always ready to help with your questions or concerns. Blanca is dedicated to helping patients with every step of their dental visit, from making patients feel comfortable and scheduling their appointments to processing their insurance claims. She is also a National Certified Phlebotomy Technician. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her family.
Lauro – Dental Assistant
Lauro has been in the dental field for six years and loves what he does! He loves working with kids and adults! His favorite things to do are play golf, fishing, and football. Lauro is a big football guy! Even though it’s painful to be a Bears fan. Lauro loves traveling and trying new types of food. He also has a dog named jd!
Stephanie – Dental Assistant
As one of our dental assistants, Stephanie wears many hats in our dental practice. From following strict disinfection protocols and setting up exam and treatment rooms to assisting our doctors in providing oral health care, Stephanie ensures your needs are met with compassion and expertise. Stephanie enjoys learning new things. She enjoys spending time with her cat Milo and her family. She also enjoys long walks and crafting on a nice summer day.
Lily – Dental Assistant
Lily Martinez is one of our Dental Assistants at Scharrington Dental as well as our second location. Some of her responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures or surgery, ensuring proper sterilization, and assisting our doctors during procedures. When she is not in the office, Lily enjoys spending quality time with her family and dogs.
Maggie – Receptionist
An experienced dental and oral surgery assistant, Maggie joined the Scharrington Dental team this year. Maggie is here to welcome you and make sure you understand everything that is going on in your appointments. She will do an intake to address your initial concerns, discuss payment plans and insurance, and obtain your dental records to make sure your visit goes as smoothly as possible. Afterward, she’ll make sure that you get set for your next appointment, get your prescription sent to your pharmacy, and make sure you have any necessary referrals. And if Polish is your language, Maggie is here to help! She looks forward to making sure you have a pleasant and successful visit at Scharrington Dental.
Melanie – Registered Dental Hygienist
Melanie graduated from the Harper College Dental Hygiene program class of 2017 and, soon after, obtained her BASDH through St. Petersburg College, Clearwater. Since then, she has spent much of her career practicing in Crystal Lake as well as her hometown of Schaumburg. Her favorite part of her profession is helping her patients feel confident while achieving optimum oral health. In her free time, Melanie enjoys baking bread, lifting weights, and traveling whenever the opportunity arises. She loves animals and has a dog as well as a cat who tags along with her on hikes and walks.
Diana – Treatment Coordinator
Diana started her career in Dentistry at 19 years old, and it has become her passion. Diana enjoys helping patients achieve their dental needs through her treatment planning experience. Diana enjoys working out and spending time with her family when she is not at work.
